That's finger printing...not finger painting:) Although, that would have been alot more fun to do today then going to the CPS office.
We are moving forward pretty fast. They are doing so good getting things done and moving forward. We went downtown today and got our finger prints done. We should have the results back in about 3-5 days. We are not worried about the results because we dont have anything to hide.
As we walked into the CPS (child protevtice service) today to get our prints done it was the same place that the parents meet their children with the foster parents. It was sad for both of us to see. There were little rooms that they stick both parties in for a few hours as the parents see thier own children. One family I was watching today broke my heart.....This young mom was visiting her twins, when they came through the door she did get a smile on her face but didn't touch or hug her young children, she just sat there starring at them. During the process when Jaron and I will recieve a foster child(ren) I think this part will be the hardest to do....taking the kids to visit with their parents and seeing the parents not really wanting to hug or talk to thier child(ren). It is so important for a child to feel loved, I know that Jaron and I will be able to give these children not just our love but share the Love of God with them as well.
