Baby Honey

Jaron and I were driving in the car with my 2 nephews. Elijah(6) said, I know what you can name your baby......Italy! We both laughed and said "that's an interesting name for a baby Elijah......Tyler(3) chimed in and said "my know what you name your baby!.....honey!" I was almost in tears. It was the cutest thing he said that day. I told him because the baby will already come with a name we can nickname the baby "honey". So now we all refer to the baby as "Baby Honey".

Just to give you all an update on the foster care/adoption process as well as the Surrogate process. Jaron and I had our first licensing visit a couple weeks ago but we didn't pass:( We have to fix a couple minor things, like an extra smoke detector and a screen on our fireplace. After we get those things we can call back for them to come back. Pray that we pass! Our social worker dropped off the adoption packet for us to fill out so we can also be an adoptive foster family. Everything is running smoothly.
I just made the appointment to meet with our lawyer to write up a contract for the surrogacy. It should take a couple of weeks and then we can FINALLY start the surrogate process!
Jaron and I can't wait to be foster parents and also to soon have a baby on the way that will genetically be ours! :) Just pray it gets my looks lol!
