I have sent this letter out to a few of you by mail so this is for the few of you who didnt recieve it. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I want to make sure that everyone is up to date on what is going on with our process to begin our family!
Dear family and friends,
Greetings from the Blythe family! Jaron and I (Danae) will be happily married for two years this August. We are living in Stockton, California and have enjoyed living close to some of our family, my two brothers and their families, as well as Jaron’s parents. We are attending First Baptist Church in Stockton where Jaron is the Wednesday night Truth and Training director for AWANAS. He loves the interaction with the kids; in fact he blends right in :). God has also blessed him with a growing and successful lawn maintenance business. I am working at a local yogurt shop and absolutely love it. I have a wonderful boss who loves the Lord and provides a healthy Christian work environment.
God has blessed us the last couple years. We both have great stable jobs and a beautiful rental home. It’s also very exciting to be at the time of our lives where we desire to start a family of our own, which brings me to the point of this letter which is to share with you a wonderful opportunity God has placed before us.
During my senior year in high school doctors discovered that I had been born without a uterus, therefore making me incapable of carrying a baby. For a few years I was angry and frustrated with God, not understanding why this happened to me. God has been teaching me that I must trust in Him and His plan for my life in the midst of a difficult situation.
With Jaron and me deeply desiring to have children, we are placing our trust in God to provide a unique way to extend our family.
We started by looking into the surrogacy program and found that the cost to go through an agency seemed too expensive. We prayed and asked that if it was the Lord’s will, to please provide a way that would make the surrogate process more obtainable.
At the same time, my cousin Shawna, who lives in Oregon with her family, was filling out the paperwork to become a surrogate. Before sending out the paperwork she looked on my Facebook page and found the link to a blog I had started to make people aware of our attempt to start a family. Shawna sensed God leading her to contact and ask us if she could be our surrogate. Thrilled over the exciting news, Jaron and I committed this incredible opportunity to prayer and have decided to move ahead with the surrogacy process.
We will be going through Northern California Fertility Center in Roseville, CA
Here are the approximate expenses:
$2,350 – Surrogate Deposit fees
$4,300 – Medication
$13,735 - IVF and ICSI fees
$2,000 – IP testing
$260 – FDA physical exam
$1,500 – additional charges
$24,145 – Total
In order to accomplish this goal and dream, we have set up a Baby Blythe savings account. For those of you who desire to come alongside us through this journey we would appreciate your prayers and donations through the information provided.
Bank of the West account # 016886846 under Jaron Blythe
Also, in the coming months we will be adding to this account through yard sales with items donated from friends and family, car washes, and additional fundraisers.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration toward Baby Blythe!

Psalm 127:3-5 “Behold, sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.”
