Well, we had our first meeting with our social worker. She was very positive and impressed of both our families pure backgrounds and how we were raised as kids. She loved the house and how much rooms it would have for a child. After the meeting I'm so much more excited about everything that we will be going through. Even though the process will be long, full of paper work and interviews we can't be more excited to finally be doing this!

ReplyDeleteWe are going through the state of Cali. Its with the foster care program. It will take from 6months-1 year before we adopt a child but because we are with the foster care program we can have a child enter our home within a few months of being licensed.
